For the past several years I have been visiting my son and his fiancée in Boston, and I feel it is one of the best big towns in our country. Boston is full of history, is safe and clean, has a vibrant sports community, and some of the best Italian and seafood restaurants you will find anywhere! It is a perfect location for Total Solutions Plus (TSP).
TSP takes place October 26-29 with board and committee meetings happening on the 26th and 27th and the full conference taking place on the 28th and 29th. TSP is managed by four leading industry associations: Tile Council of North America (TCNA), National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), and Tile Contractors Association of America (TCAA). We expect a highly-qualified audience of almost 600 industry leaders. Many professionals agree TSP is one of the most important tile industry events.
TSP combines business and technical sessions with a tabletop event. We mix in some tours that offer the opportunity to experience Boston in a variety of ways and network with industry peers. Highlights of the conference this year include three keynote presentations, exploring important topics on building trust and working with AI (Artificial Intelligence), building extraordinary leadership teams, and Big Bet Leadership the Amazon Way. We also feature some business sessions on creating a business diversification model, an outlook on the ceramic tile industry, entrepreneurship strategies, and avoiding or modifying killer contract clauses in specialty construction.
Visiting the famed Cheers bar in Boston are (l. to r.) NTCA’s Bart Bettiga, Mary Shaw-Olson, Jim Olson and Sandy Bettiga.
Boston holds much history to the foundation of our country. Take a tour when you’re in town for TSP.
Technical presentations this year include presentations that focus on the achieving quality architectural and project photography with your phone, digital communications in ceramic tile projects, exploring the true costs that accompany a ceramic tile failure, the emerging trends of ceramic tile in industrialized construction, and case studies of award-winning residential and commercial tile installations.
A tabletop networking event featuring the latest technology and tile industry products takes place on Monday, October 28th. As Executive Director of the NTCA, I encourage you to attend our association meetings that take place on the weekend preceding the conference. Our meetings are open to the public and to both members and non-members. On Monday, October 28th, the NTCA Annual Meeting is also open to all attendees and we would be honored by your attendance.
One of the anticipated features of TSP is the Tabletop Event on Monday night. Visit with vendors and make new connections.
TSP is also the perfect place to meet up with old friends and discover new ones.
